BROOMFIELD, COLO. January 6, 2009 - MWH, a global provider of environmental engineering, construction and strategic consulting services, announced today that David Barnes has joined the MWH Executive Management Team.

David Barnes will assume responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer for MWH. He brings more than 25 years experience in finance and strategic development in a wide spectrum of well known and respected companies.  Mr. Barnes joins MWH from Western Union Company, where he served as Executive Vice President of Finance and oversaw the company's strategy and Business Development activities.  David served as Chief Financial Officer for both the Radio Shack and Coors Brewing U.S. operations as well as for the China operations of YUM Brands (Pizza Hut and KFC).  David was responsible for finance and corporate development to support the global expansion of the YUM Brands businesses.
