MWH Names Three to Board of Directors

Broomfield, Colo., March 10, 2010 – MWH, the global wet infrastructure sector leader and provider of environmental engineering, construction and strategic consulting services, announced today that Sir John Vereker, David G. Barnes and Wim Drossaert have been named to the organization’s Board of Directors.

Sir John Vereker has been named an Independent Director.  He is currently an Independent Director of XL Capital Ltd, a leading global insurance and re-insurance company traded on the New York Stock Exchange.  Since joining XL Capital’s Board of Directors in 2007, he has contributed to decisions critical to the survival of the company including the selection of a new Chief Executive, raising $3 billion in capital and restructuring the company around key business lines.  He previously served as Governor of Bermuda from 2002-2007 and as Secretary of the U.K. Department for International Development from 1994-2002.

David Barnes is Chief Financial Officer of MWH Global, responsible for providing strategic financial and business development counsel to the global operation. Barnes joined MWH in 2009 and holds a strong commitment to creating value and growing the business with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

Wim Drossaert is President of the Europe-Africa region of MWH.  His focus is on growing engineering and technical services in the region.  Drossaert joined MWH in 2007 when Syncera, where he served as a Consultant, Manager and Director, merged with MWH.  Drossaert is committed to ensuring MWH continues to be at the forefront of thought leadership and expertise in the wet infrastructure sector.

Barnes, Drossaert and Vereker were elected at the annual meeting of shareholders on March 8, 2010.
